Don't get me wrong, I love all design, but typesetting text-heavy documents is an area of design which I particularly enjoy. Often the work involves an extremely high attention to detail and the need to be consistent. The perfectionist side of me loves this. These projects are also often time sensitive and require close collaboration with the editing and proofing team.
Most of all I love getting absolutely lost in thousands of letterforms, deep-diving into the font family that's being used and connecting with design history through typesetting. That and I get to geek out about Adobe InDesign.
